The Faculty of Health, Allied Sciences, and Home Economics Education invites the university community to a聽Faculty Seminar聽on the theme:

Health, Food and Nutrition in Vulnerable Populations: Emerging Contamination, Adulteration, and Feeding Practices.

The seminar will take place as follows:

The event will be chaired by聽Dr. Ekpor Anyimah-Ackah. Presentations will include the following topics:

  2. Food Adulteration: Proximate composition, consumption patterns, and discriminant sensory evaluation of red pepper powder

  3. Heavy metal migration, exposure, and health risks through canned tomato mix under different marketing display models
