The Directorate of Health Services wishesÌýto inform the University Community thatÌýthe University Clinic hasÌýextended its coverage of care to 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The extension of services took effect from Monday, 16thÌýJanuary 2023.

Scheduled OPD care beginsÌýand closesÌýatÌý8 a.m.Ìý²¹²Ô»åÌý2 p.m.Ìý»å²¹¾±±ô²â.

Acute medical challenges arising afterÌý2 p.m.Ìýto 8 a.m.Ìýthe following day will be attended to and admitted to the wards or discharged as appropriate. (We encourage the University Community to utilize the morning OPD services for their chronic ailments).

The University Community should note that surgical care for conditions such as hernia, other lumps and bumps, fibroids, and obstetric procedures will now be carried out at the Clinic.
