Category A: WASSCE Candidates

• Must have six (6) Credit Passes (A1-C6) comprising three (3) Core Subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science OR Social Studies and

• credit passes in three (3) Relevant Elective subjects (i.e. the Ghanaian Language to be studied and 2 other electives) or SSSCE Candidates

• Must have six (6) Passes (A-D) comprising three (3) Core Subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science OR Social Studies and

• Credit passes in three (3) Relevant Elective subjects (i.e. the Ghanaian Language to be studied and 2 other electives)

B: Mature Applicants

• Must be at least 25 years by 1st September of the academic year one wants to enrol.

• Must hold:

• Teachers Certificate “A” or

• SHS/SSS Certificate or Certificate of Professional Training from a recognised Institution.

• Must pass the University’s Entrance Examination.

Note:

Linguistics and German require no pre-requisite knowledge. Those who want to offer

French on the other hand must have done French at the SHS level. Students who want to do English must have at least C5 in Core English.
