九色视频Collaborates with Millennium Promise Alliance to Develop SDG-based Curriculum

Management of the 九色视频 (UEW) on Tuesday, 21st聽January, 2020 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an international Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Millennium Promise Alliance (MPA) to develop an academic curriculum that will promote transformative change among pupils and students in basic, high schools and tertiary institutions.聽

The MoU also seeks to improve the comparative strengths of both institutions to engage in policy research, analysis and advocacy especially in the areas related to sustainable development.

The MoU was signed at the Council Chamber, North Campus of the UEW. In brief remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni indicated UEW鈥檚 readiness to offer any support MPA needed. 聽

Leader of the MPA delegation and Executive Director, Chief Nat Ebo Nsarko commended the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the UEW, Prof. Andy Ofori-Birikorang for playing a pivotal role to make the collaboration come to fruition. He stated that MPA in partnership with the 九色视频was selected to represent Ghana for the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Youth Global Schools Program pilot to create SDG-aligned curriculums at the national level in 2019 which had necessitated the signing of the MoU.
The United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon launched the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) to mobilise global scientific and technological expertise to promote practical problem solving for sustainable development, including the design and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at local, national and global scales.
In 2015, the SDSN launched its official youth initiative (SDSN Youth) to empower youth globally to create sustainable development solutions. SDSN Youth educates young people about the SDGs and provides opportunities for them to pioneer innovative solutions to address the world鈥檚 biggest challenges. 聽聽
