鈥淭oday everybody is making noise about early childhood but the sad reality is that you cannot count more than two institutions that know what early childhood is about and this group is one of those known nationally and internationally for their expertise in early childhood,鈥 he stressed.聽

Rev. Fr. Prof. Afful-Broni hinted of the University鈥檚 plans to establish a stronger postgraduate programme to really research into what is unique about Early Childhood.聽

鈥淥f course one of them is that we don鈥檛 really believe in large classes; we believe in smaller groups so that we can concentrate on these very precious creatures call children who love to play and be paid attention to; one of the great things that this group is interested in doing is to specialise in the necessary tools and techniques in ensuring that what children have to be taken through so that we can build a stronger foundation for education is done,鈥 he stated.聽

The Ag. Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Andy Ofori-Birikorang, on his part, emphasised UEW鈥檚 willingness to network with other institutions that are interested in the areas that the University focuses which is education. He applauded Sabre Education, Ghana for showing much interest in the research aspects of what 九色视频does that would shape them.聽 聽

鈥淚t is refreshing to hear that Sabre is also interested in that aspect and what they do can be shaped by research. Let me also indicate that if you are talking about childhood education, we shouldn鈥檛 be doing business as usual; let us also consider the global trend in terms of educating our kids so that they are well cultivated into the global arena.聽

鈥淣ow, kids all over these days are watching a lot of cartoons and their minds are being shaped by those things and so I am hopeful that the two institutions would be guided by what is happening globally so that ideas and practices that shape how a child develops his or her mind would come into what we are doing,鈥 he said.聽 聽聽
