The Department began with about five (5) Faculty members and one (1) Undergraduate programme (BBA in Human Resource Management). Within a period of 6 years, the department now host about three (3) undergraduate and three (3) postgraduate programmes.Students enrolment has also increased from about 300 in 2017 to 1,165. The Department is in partnership with the CIHRM to provide certification to all Faculty and Administrative staff who meet their certification requirement. The Institute also awards the best graduating HRM student during graduation.
