The ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the position of Special Needs Coordinator at its Students Services Centre

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
• Must be proficient in Ghanaian sign language
• working experience with students with special needs
• Knowledge of Special Education Laws and Regulations (eg. IDEA, ADA)
• Must have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Duties

1. Coordinate Individualised Education Progress (IEPS) and services for students with special needs
2. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
3. Facilitate communication between staff and students with special needs
4. Ensure compliance with special education regulations and laws
5. Collaborate with outside organisations and service providers
