Description

This programme is targeted at Pre-School Educators, SHS Certificate Holders, Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ holders, Social Workers and all those who desire to be trained in the education of children at the pre-school level.

Entry Requirement

For Direct Entry, Applicants must possess any ONE of the following:

A. WASSCE

• Credit passes in Six (6) subjects including (3) core subjects (A1- D7), plus

• Credit passes (A1 – C6) in there (3) electives.

B. SSSCE

• Credit passes (A – D) in Six (6) subjects comprising three (3) Core Subjects including English Language and Mathematics, plus

• Credit passes in three (3) elective subjects.

C. GCE ‘O’ Level

• Credit passes (Grade 6) in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject.

D. Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’

• Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ from a recognized College of Education or Institution.

E. Certificate in Pre-School Education from the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ.

F. Mature applicants

• The applicant should obtain at least 25 years by September 1, in the academic year in which one wants to apply (See definition under Entry Modes on page 2 of this brochure)
