Dr. (Mrs.) Anor, Charity Esenam

Biography
Dr. Charity Esenam Anor, an educator in science and chemistry from Ghana, had a passion for science since childhood. She completed her education at Mawuli Senior High School and St. Teresa’s College of Education before pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Science at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ.
Dr. Anor furthered her education with a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and a Ph.D. in Science Education from UEW. Her doctoral research focused on integrating indigenous knowledge into chemistry teaching.
She is a Lecturer at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµand conducts research in diverse areas such as chemistry education, indigenous knowledge, gender studies and environmental science. Dr. Anor is also dedicated to promoting students' engagement in STEM.
She has won awards, grants, and fellowships, including from the American Chemical Society and Erasmus+. She is an active member of professional associations and holds leadership roles in various organizations in Ghana.
