I am an award-winning Associate Professor of Public Relations and Strategic Communication, with over a decade of academic, research and consultancy experience. My work lies at the intersection of Communication, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability- areas I am deeply passionate about. I specialise in Public Relations, Corporate and Strategic Communication, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability, with a strong commitment to shaping ethical and effective communication practices across academia, industry and society.
With a PhD from Leeds Beckett University, UK, I have had the privilege of presenting research at global conferences in over 15 countries, and serving as research consultant for international initiatives including the Global School Pilot Project in New York. I am also a proud alumna of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in the UK and an accredited Member of Institute of Public Relations, Ghana.
My contributions to the field have been recognised through several prestigious awards, including Best Paper award in Public Relations and Strategic Communication (Leeds Beckett University, UK); PR academic of the year award (Institute of Public Relations Ghana); Emerald Literati Award for ‘Outstanding Author Contribution’ and a Creativity and Leadership award from an Erasmus Programme in Heraklion, Crete, Greece.
Beyond academia, I consult for organisations across sectors, serve as external examiner for top communication training institutions, and contribute to national and international boards and committees. Currently, I lead the Department of Strategic Communication at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ (UEW), where I mentor the next generation of communicators and change-makers. I was also previously Director, Office for Institutional Advancement of the University.Ìý
