Peace Chinwendu Israel was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She is the last born of her parents and was born twins. She had her primary and secondary education in Abia State, Nigeria and her higher education in Lagos.
Chinwendu is a scholar, a scholar-critic, a writer and a human capacity development trainer. She has double masters (in English and Philosophy), Post-graduate Diploma in Education (UEW) and a PhD (in English) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
She is a renowned facilitator of over 10 years on Communication Skills, Business Writing Skills and Presentation Skills and has trained staff of various organizations such as West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM), West African Monetary Institute (WAMI), Central Banks of Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone, the Gambia and the Bank of Ghana; National Pension Commission (Nigeria), KPMG, MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd., FITC Limited (within Nigerian and abroad).
She has taught language courses and supervised/examined students at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Lagos and the National Open University of Nigeria, both in Nigeria.

She is a Methodist and loves uha soup eaten with garri. She enjoys watching movies, opera concerts and travelling.
Dr Israel is blessed with two Angels - Donald and Deborah.
