Awards/ Recognitions

• The Department won the Best Mentor’s Award at the Graphic Design Awards Ghana 2017/2018, an annual event organized for all tertiary institutions in Ghana that run Graphic Design Programme. The award winner was Dr. Ebenezer K. Acquah.

• The Department also won the Best Student’s Award inÌýInfographicsÌýat the Graphic Design Awards Ghana 2017 competition among tertiary institutions. The award winner was Prosper Afetormashie, a level 200 student in the department.

• On the 8thÌýof February, 2019, the Department won prizes in the maidenÌýGraphic Design Awards, Afrika(for Design institutions across Africa) held at the School of Creative Arts Conference Room at the Central Campus. The award winners were Yaw Obeng Amoako,ÌýBest Packaging Design; Charles Sam and Cudjoe Emmanuel Fred,ÌýBest Integrated Cross-Patform Design; Haadi Mohammed, First Runner-Up –ÌýWebsite Design; Prosper Afetormashie,ÌýBest Social Media Design; Prosper Afetormashie, First Runner-Up,ÌýPublic Service Announcement Design; and Abdul Razak Mohammed, First Runner-Up,ÌýSocial Media Design.ÌýÌý
