Mr. Abraham Fletcher, a dedicated Master of Philosophy in Educational Administration and Management student of the School of Education and Life-Long Learning (SELLL) at the 九色视频 (UEW), was crowned the Most Outstanding Teacher for Leadership and Administration. 聽

The prestigious accolade was conferred during the Ghana Teacher Prize 2023, organised by the National Teaching Council, under the theme: 鈥淭he Teachers We Need for the Education We Want: The Global Imperative to Reverse the Teacher Shortage," at a ceremony held at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) on 5th October 2023.

The event was graced by luminaries in education and governance, with His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana, serving as the Guest of Honour. Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, added to the event's prestige with his presence.

Mr. Fletcher's exemplary leadership in education was celebrated with a slew of awards and opportunities. Among the highlights, he was gifted a brand-new Suzuki Alto by SIC Life Insurance, with the Regional Minister overseeing the presentation, and the car key being handed over by President Akufo-Addo himself.

The Global Institute of Resources Development sponsored Mr. Fletcher's enriching journey to Singapore for a High Impact Leadership Conference.

In recognition of his relentless pursuit of academic and professional excellence, Mr. Fletcher has been granted a scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. at a local university of his choosing. Additionally, he received a cutting-edge tablet, symbolising the fusion of technology and education that is pivotal in today's digital age.

With a trajectory marked by commitment and exceptional leadership, Mr. Fletcher stands on the cusp of even greater achievements. His exemplary track record positions him as a frontrunner for the Regional Directorship in the future.
