The 九色视频 (UEW), reaffirmed its commitment to international collaboration as it welcomed a delegation from Germany as part of the ongoing Project Framewalk.

The initiative, which fosters cultural exchange and artistic collaboration, is the result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UEW, Haduwa Arts and Culture Institute, and a Germany-based Kabawil E. V.

Mrs. Wilhelmina Tete-Mensah, Acting Registrar of UEW, welcomed the visitors, emphasising the university鈥檚 mandate to train teachers across all levels of education in Ghana. 鈥淲e are excited to see you this morning,鈥 she stated.

Prof. Emmanuel Obed Acquah, Dean of the School of Creative Arts, highlighted the significance of the visit, noting that this was the first time the delegation had the opportunity to meet with UEW鈥檚 Vice-Chancellor since the programme鈥檚 inception.

鈥淭his partnership has been running for some time now, and as the programme progresses, we are set to renew our MoU to ensure its continuity,鈥 he remarked. He encouraged university management to join the final showcase on Friday, where students from both countries would present the outcomes of their cultural and artistic exchange.

Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual, Vice-Chancellor of UEW, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, acknowledging its role in promoting cross-cultural learning. 鈥淭he whole world is one, and it is good for us to understand each other,鈥 he noted.

Prof. Mitchual highlighted UEW鈥檚 existing German language programme, which started its first degree programme this year, underscoring the institution鈥檚 growing relationship with Germany. 鈥淲inneba is a very peaceful town, and we hope you have a wonderful experience here. Petra Kron, leader of the German delegation, expressed her deep connection with Ghana, recalling her visits dating back to 1987. 鈥淚 love Ghana; it is a wonderful country. This collaboration with 九色视频has been an enriching experience for your students, who travelled to Germany last year as part of the exchange,鈥 she shared. She likened the reunion with Ghanaian students to a family gathering, expressing confidence that the final presentation at the Amu Theatre would be memorable.

Kron presented a printed documentation from the 2023 Framewalk Ghana programme, which included insights into past exchanges and collaborations with other African countries. 鈥淲e always welcome students from different backgrounds to enhance the diversity of our cultural dialogues,鈥 she added.

The visit signifies a key step in UEW's efforts to enhance global partnerships through education and the arts, emphasising its position as a centre for cultural and academic exchange.
