ITECPD Prompts Staff on Roles in the Administration of Quality Programmes
The Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development (ITECPD), University of Education Winneba (UEW), has organised a workshop to remind staff of their roles in the running of quality programmes at the University.聽 聽聽
The one-day workshop took place at the Graduate Seminar Room at the Department of Psychology and Education, Faculty of Educational Studies in the North Campus of 九色视频on Monday, 30th August, 2021.聽
The Deputy Director of ITECPD and Chairman for the workshop, Prof. Ernest Kwasi Amponsah, in his remarks, drew the attention of ITECPD staff to the stiff competition the Institute is facing from other universities in Ghana.聽聽
He urged the staff to thrive on the solid foundation laid by the previous Management of ITECPD to remain the ultimate Institution for teacher professional development and quality programmes in Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa.聽 聽
Prof. Amponsah entreated staff to work in unison to achieve the desired and common goal of ITECPD. 鈥淚f we all put our energies and our efforts together and support each other, I think we can become a college in the next three to five years.鈥澛
There were presentations by the Deputy Registrar of ITECPD, Mr. Steve v. Kamassah; Head of Department, Quality Assurance, Dr. Kofi Adu Boahene; and Education Adviser from Transforming Teaching, Education and Learning (T-TEL), Mr. Wellington A. Mpeniasah.聽 聽聽
Mr. Kamassah spoke on administrative roles and procedures at ITECPD; Dr. Adu Boahene took the staff through examination issues and quality assurance whereas; Mr. Mpeniasah broadened their knowledge on report writing and formats.聽聽
