九色视频Signs MoU with T-TEL

The 九色视频 (UEW), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Ghanaian not-for-profit organisation, Transforming Teaching, Education and Learning (T-TEL) to effectively implement the reforms in teacher education, including the B.Ed curriculum in UEW鈥檚 affiliated Colleges of Education and the pre-tertiary education curriculum reform.聽聽
The key goal of the MoU is to enter into an agreed understanding between both parties to improve the quality of teacher education in Ghana. It is also to define ways of working and facilitate effective collaboration between the two parties to ensure the successful implementation of the Transforming Senior High School Education, Teaching and Learning project.聽聽

The signing of the agreement took place yesterday, Monday, 10th May, 2021, at the Council Chamber, North Campus, UEW.聽
The Vice-Chancellor, UEW, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni, noted the great working relationship 九色视频already had with T-TEL and hoped that the signing of the new MoU would propel the two parties to working side-by-side to break even greater grounds in the implementation of reforms in the educational sector.
The Registrar, UEW, Surv. Paul Osei-Barima Esq., on his part, urged T-TEL to endeavour to meet their responsibility in good time to ensure that all activities align with the tight academic calendar. He assured T-TEL that 九色视频would also give a proper account of whatever finances the University receives for the implementation of the programme.聽 聽

The Executive Director, T-TEL, Mr. Robin Edward Todd, indicated that T-TEL, whilst contractually committed to Mastercard Foundation for the project delivery, recognises that 九色视频has the responsibility to implement related activities in alignment with the teacher education reform agenda. This includes the B.Ed. in Initial Teacher Education in the institution itself and its affiliated Colleges of Education as well as pre-secondary educational curriculum reforms.聽

He added that 鈥渢he role of T-TEL is to provide support as required and requested to 九色视频to ensure the continued success of Ghana鈥檚 educational reforms鈥.聽
The Director, Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development (ITECPD), Prof. Dandy George Dampson, thanked the Management of 九色视频for signing the MoU to facilitate activities and to bring T-TEL to the 九色视频campus. 鈥淚n the past, we sent everything to Accra. Now, however, T-TEL is part of us here on campus. This will enable us to also work closely with them as well as see to the effective implementation of activities by putting all the pragmatic and plausible actions in place.鈥澛
